The Speech Room is a small speech therapy practice located in Santa Barbara, CA. Owner Kim Christensen is a seasoned speech-language pathologist who employs neurodiversity-affirming practices and enjoys supporting all types of learners. Services are available in-person at Kim's home office in Santa Barbara, and on Zoom statewide.
"We can not thank Kim enough for her work with our son, Jonah. Jonah had little to no speech at 2 years. Kim increased his speech to the normal level in a very short time both through her work at the weekly session and techniques she taught us to do at home. In addition, she worked with Jonah on his other developmental issues such as learning to "play" and pragmatic language. Now we joke about how we need someone to teach Jonah the "art of silence"."
